rickzoo
primary, idiopathic or immune: Platelet count of less than 20,000, with active bleeding, requiring treatment with medication and transfusions100 Platelet count between 20,000 and 70,000, not requiring treatment, without bleeding70 Stable platelet count between 70,000 and 100,000, without bleeding30 Stable platelet count of 100,000 or more, without bleeding 0 I requested to move from the 30% to 70% because my platlets dipped to 60,000 . They have been up to 90,000 and down to 60,000 in the past year I contend That is not stable as in to bottom 2 levels. I was denied because they were at 78,000 Should this make a differance?I feel I should be intitled to 70%.
rickzoo
I am cronic from cirrosis, and splemagaly. My platelets have been decilining for several years. I was given the 30% for having platelets under 100,000.I was denied recently for an increase.but my request is based on a gradual decline. Also the words stable for 70,000 - 100,000, and stable for 100,000+. mine are not stable , so that makes me feel the way I do.
