How long after a c&p exam should I receive a decision?

JayBrown,

Have you picked up your copy of the C&P? I hate to try to answer your question, for the time frame seems to change so much from one veteran to another.

Some on the board have received an answer in no time and for others it seems to go on and on.

If it is for an increase of your present service connected disability, I would think that I would be safe in saying no longer than 3 to 6 months.

As I said, this is only my opinion and I am no way anything close to a service officer.

Always,

Betty

I have never had a problem with picking up a copy of my C&P

examinations from the VAMC.

I waited about a week after the C&P and called the records department

to see if it was complete and then went to records and signed a

form and picked up my copy.

Thanked them and on my way.

Always,

Betty
