Question

Question, I have a claim currently in development at the VARO for IU. I am currently 70%PTSD and 20%DMII, My group couselor just wrote a letter stating I am unemployable and the reasons, all relating to PTSD Symptoms. Can I send this letter in to the VARO at this time as additional evidence? On the form the VARO sent to me I checked the box for them to decide my claim ASAP.

any advice???

Thanks

Rich

Be sure to put your name and claim number of every page of any information you send. VA loses things... I will also describe on the 21-4138 every document included as evidence.

In case you don't know, a "21-4138" is a "statement in support of claim."

I scanned one into my computer and created a template wherein I can type what I want and just stick the form in my printer and zap it out. If hand write it you must, print and be neat. VA has problems reading too...

or, you can just click here for a fillable PDF version of the form.

Like Jay said, be sure to list all of your evidence on the form and put your name and c-file number (or ssn) on each page of evidence.
