Guest Morgan
Here's a report about the failings of the VCAA letters. It's a .pdf file, so you'll need a reader. Shucks, it won't let me attach it for some reason...if someone wants it I can send it to you privately. Edited February 27, 2006 by Morgan
Guest Berta
I will attach 2 GAO reports I downloaded yesterday-on the VCAA- I get ticked when I read remands that were deficient as to the VCA notice or what it really was supposed to do: such as : http://www.va.gov/vetapp05/files2/0513931.txtGAO_02_412_Veterans___Benefits_VBA__s_Efforts_to_Implement_the_Veterans_Claims_Assistance_Act_Need_Further_Monitoring.htmGAO_02_395_Veterans_Benefits_Administration_Clarity_of_Letters_to_Claimants_Needs_to_Be_Improved.htm
Ricky
Why on earth would those bast--ds at GAO say such a thing. The VA is the most trusted, effeicent, kind and helpful government organization in the world. Whew it is late but I think I need another gin and tonic to help me got over the idiot syndrome that I must have been suffering from when I made that statement.
