DeeDee
I am SC for a back injury. My doc says I my have fibromyalgia (caused by my injury). Can I file a claim for fibromyalgia even though its so closely connected to my back injury?
Guest Berta
Absolutely- it seems that the doc finds it to be secondary to or caused by the SC back injury - a very good basis for a claim. The "close connection" doesn't matter and helps the claim if this is a separate and ratable disabilty caused by or secondary to the SC injury. SLEDGE
I have a 10% rating for secondary service connected FMS. Secondary to PTSD. Any physical or mental injury or stress can be the medical causation of Fibromyalgia. Try taking some Armour Thyroid. sledge Those that need help the most are the ones least likely to receive help from the VA. It's up to us to help each other. sledge twkelly@hotmail.com
