hello-i am medically retired from the army after 12 years efective sept 29th-received my award letter from the va on 5 feb. i am just confused on the entitlement.it says i can expect payment within 15 days for the initial amount but then it says they have withheld benefits for a month and must with hold all compensation until feb 1 2010 since i am not allowed to receive va and army pay. does this mean i will not get compensated for the 4 months since i was approved from the va? i hope i made sense of this question.any insight would be greatly appreciated
