Tension Headaches

Hello All! I am service connected for Cervical DDD as well as Cervical Radiculopathy. I have a claim in for headaches due to my Cervical condition. The Examiner states that it is ( at least as likely as not ) that the Headaches which the claiment report are triggered or originates as a result of his Cervical Spine condition. I was diagnosed as having Tension Headaches. Are Tension Headaches ratable? I have searched and all I can find that comes close to this is Migraines.

all headaches fall under the migraines (DC 8100) so yes it's ratable, esp. if cervical spine is causing the issue, you can claim as secondary.

I just want to jump in here and add that

prior to the October 2008 regulatory changes in DC 8045 - brain trauma,

the rating criteria allowed a 10% capped evaluation, for subjective headaches due to DC 8045.

This is what I am currently stuck under for headaches, until I request a re-evaluation

under the current criteria.

I have a long story behind this one - lol.
