AfghanVet850
I filled a FDC in Feb and it is still in the preparation for decision phase. I checked today and they have requested a 5103 waiver review from a third party and a new contention VBMS (New) has been added. What is going on? 0 TiredCoastie
Just to be clear send the VA nothing other than a statment that all record of treatment are in the possesion of the VA and I have nothing more to add to the claim? I need to follow this site more often. Though thats a little tough as I am a single parent...lol. That's right! Unless you have something that substantially bearing on your claim, you're much better off to hold on to it for the appeals process. Otherwise, you'll throw the process into dual-slow. However, as some of the wiser sages have stated on this site, the FDC process is just a faster way to a denial...
0 meghp0405
have to disagree with TiredCoastie, an FDC is not a faster way to a denial. I have hundreds of veterans that will attest otherwise!
0 TiredCoastie
Hey, sometimes it works out for the vet and sometimes it doesn't. Didn't work out well for me last go-round. Even my NSO said that it looked like I got one of the not-so-good raters. Hopefully Biggiewagz gets excellent news soonest!
