I know this is a continuing question, which is why I want to ask it again and keep it at the top.
Dependency claim question.
I retired Oct 2012 at 40%.
VA had me as single, filed my claim to have this changed.
The case closed Sep 2014 and I am now getting the with depend rate.
Am I due retroactive pay for the time I was getting paid as single? That amounts to about 24 months. My basic math skills tell me the difference is about $1500.
If so, how long does that take? It's going on 2 months and I have not rec'd any retro pay.
Thanks. I enjoy the sight and help you all provide.
