Have you tried your veterans counselor at the school you attend ?(the one who works for the school)

Or is that who you mean?

You could try to contact your VA counselor by email.

try their first name, add a period, last name, then @va.gov.

As I recall ,the initial Voc Rehab stipend depends on some time spent in the course.

Is this the first stipend you expect?

When I was in Chap 35 (husband had been in Voc Rehab long ago)

it was great to have email for not only my college VA counselor but the actual VA Chap 35 person.

Chapter 35ers must pay their tuition first, before each semester ,before VA will refund it to them.I could email the college VA person , and CC in my VA counselor, with proof of my payment at AMU finance and then they would verify to payment and mail it to me.

It was hard to depend on when that payment would come however. Once they sent me three separate checks and I felt odd taking 3 VA checks to the bank.

GI Bill is set up better.

As I recall, after a few weeks in Voc Rehab, or maybe after the first semester, my husband's Stipend came on the first of every month, like his VA comp did.

Voc Rehab is different of course, but the right email addys can make it all go smoothly.
