Mark1 Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I've gotten my Associates Degree, by using chapter 31 Voc.Rehab. and now i have 6 months left so I'm in a VA program call "non-paid work experience". I work 40 hrs. week get paid $762 a month, though this program. My question is if i don't get offered a job after or before my time is up, are there any other programs that may assist me. I'm SC for ddd of the lower back,arthritis in the back,both shoulders and to many other things to type because of my carpal tunnel in both hands. 0 pwrslm Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) They can extend the entitlement depending on severity of your disability. Talk to the VR&E rep for this. Getting a related job would pay much better though. I would go for a full time job that pays over 800 per week myself.
