I filed a claim in July of last year. Va called October to schedule C&P. Unable to due to Out of state. SO, after going back and forth and VA resubmitting for C&P exam, I was able to do exam in Feb 2017. Denied in April. Put in for reconsideration, and with new C&P exam I from June, was upped 10% disability compensation. Ebenefits shows effective date July 1, 2017.
Is there retro pay involved in this claim, or is it straight up July 2017 based off of ebenefits showing effective date July.

According to YOUR post, the effective date is July 1, 2017, but what does the VARO letter say? Dont rely upon ebenefits, most of us do not. You will just have to wait for the letter. After ;you get

Your effective date is the later of the "date of claim" or "facts found" which is the date the doc says you were disabled.
