chgojack
Hey there, Can you go and have your benefits date changed? Mine is when I first applied for benefits. I think it should be when I was discharged. Thanks and god bless, Jack
1 Moderator broncovet Posted January 6, 2019 Moderator Share Posted January 6, 2019 No. You cant change it, but regulations can alter it. IF you applied for benefits within ONE year of discharge, the regs allow your effective date to be the day after you were discharged. If you dont apply for benefits within a year of discharge, you dont get that benefit.
