First and foremost. I like to thank you for all the valuable information and resources being shared. I have been in the shadows doing a lot of reading. But I could not found the difference between the two. I started out with the DVS over in Norfolk, to start my claims , but due to time issues with my new job. It was hard getting time off in the morning to commute to Norfolk with the traffic on east 64 and get back to work with a new job. The rep over in Norfolk said I could go to dvs in hampton. I signed up with the DAV. My question is do they have access to updates from the veterans administration in reference to the status of your claims, as in being able to view if your claim is in ratings. I am familiar with ebenefits and vet.gov. Do both dav and dvs have the same information as the 1800 827 1000. Do anyone have any insight about the two? Thanking you in advance. Sunny 1
