bm6546 Posted April 6, 2007 Share Posted April 6, 2007 Forgot to mention that the VA did extend my Plavix for 6 months. They are not sure about the different studies that are out there with no scientific answers. I did go to the VA hospital in Reno to see the Cardiologist. He said it was the VA policy to only prescribe Plavix for 1 year. He went ahead and extended it for 6 months. After that I have to pay for my Plavix.
