nlualum82
It never hurts to have a hearing test. I was rated 0% but SC for hearing loss in early '78 and thought that was it. I was coaching the local VSO's son in football about 10 years later and he had a feeling I was rateable - sent me back - 20%! Left well enough alone many more years, didn't learn my lesson. Relocated and called the VA about a broken hearing aid. They scheduled me for a test and told me to request a C % P - 40%! A few years later I was retested and now have a 50% rating on my hearing. I have a feeling I'll schedule another one in a couple of years and go to 60%. Following through on it and joining this board helped me become aware of other SC things I was living with and currently have a 90% overall rating.
