How to's on filing a Claim
This for instructional purposes to direct you on how to file your claim. When we were in the service they told you when to get up, when to eat, what weapon you were going to use, and where to go.
When you got out no one told you how to deal with the VA and how to file for the benefits that you earned by your service.
This section of the forum I have been wanting to set up for just this reason

I am eligible un PACT to file for HTN and MGUS and I have an intent to file a claim about out to expire in Aug/2024. (filed in 8/2023). I also want to revisit my previously denied illness of Acquired Hemolytic Anemia (aka Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria - which was rejected several years ago, lack of evidence). I have new evidence to support PNH but I'm assuming since it is well past the initial denial, I need to reclaim it. My question: I need clarifying as to what do I list in SECTION V: claim information of the form VA 21-526ez . Do I list ONLY the illnesses that I am now claiming OR do I also have to list those illnesses I have already been granted? …

I've been shot down 3 times trying to get Aid & Attendance. The last time under favorable findings the VA said I needed A&A for my nonservice-connected problems. Shrink said she was going to beef up my mental findings next time I file. My problem is this, I filed for my Claim File at the beginning of October I can feel my life slipping slowly away, little by little I'm losing my ability and desire to do anything I'm afraid I might pass away before I get the Claim File.
