Selecting A Start Date For Chap 35..

My daughter just got her letter showing her award for Chapter 35...Then is asked to choose a start date? her birthday 18th june "09", my date of total disability18 nov 09, or any date between ??Would it not be a obvious choice of 6/27/09??What am I missing here..

Unless there is a back pay issue she can also choose the date you were notified. If there is no back reimbursement I would choose that date
