My question for the board is I am taking coumadin due to P.E. , blood clots in my lungs and my levels have to be checked every two weeks. I am going to be in San Antonio for a month in Feb. staying in a motor home at Ft. Sam Houston. Can anyone tell me if it would be possible for me to get the levels checked at the military base hospital or is there a v.a. hospital around who could check it. If so, what do I need to do, have my va doc write a note so I can get it checked. Thanks for your help.

Look at the very last link on the row and it says va facilities. Click on that and it should list all facilities available. Enjoy your trip.
