I served on Korat Royal Thai Airbase my flight to Thailand stopped in Vietnam. If I provide my LES which shows CZ will this assist in proving boots on ground?

Combat zones often include surrounding waters (as was in Desert Storm, other operations, conflicts, wars). Might not be "rock solid" evidence but couldn't hurt. Any specific operations that are documented would help prove participation too.

If you can prove that your flight landed in Nam you fall into boots on the ground but it may take more than your LES. Did you take any pictures or send any postcards or letters from Nam?
