Question

Hello Vets i made a mistake i think by reopening my claims online on ebenefits as well as thru a VSO i did this within a week i thought when i register thru ebenefits and it showed an old claim that i got denied due to no evidence 8 years ago. How do i delete the claim online since i put my claims thru a VSO thqat did a FDC claim. How do i fix this? The VA may now think i have 2 claims open and might take away FDC claim that my VSO put in for me this is for the RO ST Pete office. Thank you.

Hoorah to You too and welcome here Marine!

If the claim from 8 years ago was denied, and you are not in the appeal process for that claim, then that claim is over.

I assume you re -opened that same claim,as a new claim, but with N & M (New and Material evidence that was not redundant or accumulative to evidence used for the older denied claim.)

The N & M is required for a re=opened claim.

Can you possibly scan and post the Reasons, Bases, and Evidence list for the older denied claim?
