  1. sorry i dont know where to post this. my question is,do i have to file and/or pay taxes on va disability and social security monies? thank you in advance for any responses.

  2. Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is a monthly benefit for people who have worked in the past and paid Social Security taxes. SSDI benefits are paid to people who are unable to work for a year or more because of their disability. As long as you paid into Social Security, you should qualify.

    Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a Federal assistance program designed to provide income to aged, blind, or disabled people who have limited assets with which to support themselves. It is income based and if you are a disabled veteran rated 50% or above then you make too much money for SSI.

  3. this was 40 years ago. the one time i went to the emegency room with a flareup ,the person i saw said i didnt have malaria that it was just a virus and didnt even take a blood sample. the other times i have just rode it out. thanks for your replies

  4. when i was discharged from the army i recieved 50 per cent disability for one year then they dropped it. i still have flare ups,is it possible to reopen a claim for this, currently recieving 50 per cent for ptsd. thank you
