Im fight a claim for depression and was denined.Im at 50% right now. I have cronic pain,degenerating joint desease, authritus and both knees done, TKR total knee. I am taking antidepressants and seeing a psyc Dr. I have been suicidal at times. Any help would be appreciated. Congrats on ur rating.

Best of luck. I have two TKR total knee replacements 1 is at 30% and the other at 20% hopefully going to 30% soon. Im trying for 100% but like you said the Dr's are scared of the VA. They wont write any thing point blank. Best of luck.

Well though I would post on here. I have 2 total Knees as of 6 weeks ago. I started the process in 2007 with my first total knee. I am at a loss because right now i still have pain in both lower legs and pain in the first knee done in 07. Im rated at 50% right now LFT knee, 30%, rt knee 20%, hear loss 10%. I have been to see VA and cilvian Dr's. I have appealled everything and still waiting. i take pain meds everyday and also see a psyc Dr and take anti-depessants daily. I have letter from cilvian Dr's stating my deginerating joint desease, and osto authritus. I have not been able to work a full time job for two year. I have filled for unemployability but denined. Oh by the way I am only 42 years old. Keep trying for your knees, mine dont have a chance at getting better. Any sugestions would be great. 82nd C 1/319th AFAR.
