  1. What if your over 20 years, will i be TDRL or go straight to PDRL? current C&P shows me PTSD, mild TBI and a GAF of 55? still seeing a Psyhc. still on active duty, but going thru MEB for Back issues.
  2. i am also a gulf war vet and the same happens to me once i am about to fall into sleep i kick so hard i wake the wife up, not very happy with me . i recenlty went to a sleep study they our calling it restless leg syndrome? The doctor gave me some pills and sent me on my way, the problem is the pills trigger my PTSD. I don't want to be around my family or anyone else as far as that goes.
  3. one other question? when i sat down with the VA rep to talk about my claims, they had wrote Stress disorder on the form, thats what triggered me to see the psychciatrist. the Doc came back with those findings below. should the form be updated to what was found in the C&P exam to PSTD and mild TBI?
  4. thanks for the reply, i am currently in the airforce now, i had spent 12 yrs in the infantry and moved over after that. i had been seen for headaches from the VA back when i got out of Army, they rated me at 20% for migraines, i was in a mititary vehicle that rolled over a cliff, and was medivac to a hospital, i lost concousness for about 5 minutes. Thats documented in my med. records, i was diagnosed in 2001 from Va as having migraines with clusters. To asnwer your question yes i do have more than 3 a month i am takeing Maxalt and some other meds for the headaches. I was not aware that i can add the other findings in the MEB, i believe it has already left for the final answer from MED Board. Thanks! feel free to ask other questions this helps.
  5. Help, need some questions answered. I am currently going thru a Medical Evaluations board (MEB) for my Lower back. I was told that i will most likely be med boarded out due to this being my third surgery and i am over 20 yrs. The Va set up two C&P exam for me Aug of 2011 i was seen by a psychiatrist for stress disorder, he stated i have AXIS I = PTSD AXIS II No diagnosis AXIS III 1. history of mild traumatic brain injury 2. back pain 3. Headaches. AXIS IV= Stressors 3 AXIS V: 55 Prognosis: I suspect that he would benefit from psychiatric treatment. Unfortunately he resists this suggestion. His Prognosis is fair. What does all that mean and should i follow up on the TBI ? since its documented in the C&P am i good to assume it will be considered ? the other C&P exam was just about my Headaches and Lower Back questions.
