  1. Thanks Carlie. I meet all the criteria for 60% plus a few more symptoms. I wasn't too impressed with the doctor. She didn't ask me any questions except for work history and confirmed that I was diagnosed in 92. I just kept talking and telling her what was going on. Not too happy with this one. On the other hand, the audiologist was great. She took time to ask questions and explain options and did a hearing test. Still need an appointment for the ptsd. I did track down the lcpo for the human goals office at the command I was stationed at when emergency orders were cut for me to transfer away from the stalker who had assaulted me and other things several times and the lcpo wrote a statement for me. Hope it helps. The therapist I see at the VA has been encouraging me for a few years to put in for disability for ptsd and I've finally worked up the courage to go for it. This forum is great. Wish I would have looked for it a few years ago.
  2. The worksheets gave me a better idea of what will be happening tomorrow. I'm going through this to increase the rating on my thyroid condition, be rated for the tinnitus and ptsd.
  3. Received a phone call from the va today and tomorrow I am scheduled for my C&P exam. I'm currently rated at 10% for hearing loss but was never rated for tinnitus. Also, I have 10% for thyroid disease. My thyroid was diagnosed when I started gaining a lot of weight quickly and was put on the command's weight control program. My 10% doesn't include the weight gain and it is documented in my active duty medical records that the exam I received was for the weight control program. Also have been treated for depression that my VA psychiatrist has documented could be due to my thyroid problems or ptsd or sexual trauma that occurred during the 15 years I was in the navy. I'm also agoraphobic and have panic attacks, depression and anxiety. My questions are, what do I expect at the exams I'm having tomorrow? Could my entitlement be backed up to the date I first applied for disability? I'm a bit nervous. My original claims date back to the 1990s so I'm a bit out of the loop with this kind of thing. Thanks for any advice/help.
