  1. Yes......he does go off for any reason. He also has nightmares and sweating. He can be a very angry person when he gets frustrated.
  2. My hubby's claim has been pending since 12/2007. He got his unofficial letter from DAV on 07/2012 stating he would be getting a total of 40%...retro-pay for 30%. The Ebenefits claim status was Pending Decision Approval on 6/07/12......well today 8/03/2012 the status is Under Review with a estimated claim completion date of 11/05/2012 to 02/08/2013. The DAV sent us a Dependency form with the unofficial letter to list marriages and children and requested he mail this form back. We also went to his DAV rep. and he stated that we need to mail it in and we should be getting money in a couple of weeks. So my husband mailed it back. Did this maybe cause this problem? It seems to have started over what in the world happened? Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the information. The 10% is for his back he has been receiving comp. for since 2010. I was thinking since the letter stated he only got the total 40% he wouldn't get anything on his other illnesses since there wasn't any mention of those. We are really needing that money to pay bills and mortgage so hope it comes really soon. Thanks.
  4. My hubby just got unofficial letter from DAV on July 6, 2012 from claim filed back in December 2007. It says a combined evaluation of 40% has been assigned as a result of the following actions: Service connection for post-traumatic stress disorder with depression is granted with an evaluation of 30% effective 12/2007. How much longer might it be before he gets official letter? Also does this mean he most likely will not get anything for his other illnesses? Thanks.
