  1. Hello,

I have 11 years of service, two combat tours to Afghanistan. I was required to have a physical done for age requirement and had an abnormal EKG. I had to follow up with a cardiologist and found I have a myocardial bridged left anterior descending artery. I never had problems with this before and it never appeared on any of my previous physicals or EKGs. I started having some issues around February of 2013 with light headed feelings while conducting cardio workouts. I had a major issue during a company run about a month before the last physical when they found the abnormal EKG. I have been issued a permanent profile and was told I will be sent to a PEB. My case manager stated I will probably be discharged.

My question is has anyone ever heard of something similar to this and what is the chances I could file a VA claim that the military aggravated my condition so I am not kicked out with just a T-shirt and coffee mug. They told me I would keep my GI Bill and VA medical rights and that is about it. And any suggestions for the PEB that would help me later for a VA claim.

Thank you for the anticipated help.

  2. Ebenefits changed today to reflect 70%. I am super excited because now I can pay my bills! What other benefits should I look into? Does this mean all my VA medical bills will go away? What about other medical bills related to sc disability but treated at civilian hospital? How long until I get my retro and first monthly pay? Benefit pay doesn't reflect child dependents? Sooooo many questions... any advise is greatly appreciated!!!!

  3. The Rating Officer called and left a message to call her back. I have tried calling epeggy but they have no answers as to why the RO would call. There are no notes in my claim file. My claim is in the "prep notification" phase. Any ideas why they would call?
