  1. Hi this question is for anyone who can answer.. I got out the USMC in 2006 i got a 60% rating in May '14 (50pts 10hearing) the letter on E benefits says "you are not considered permanently disabled because you're scheduled for a reduction in rating in 2019.. what's up with that? Thnx for the input ladies and Gents!
  2. USMC_HVEC hey thanks for the nice words. And the info just recently set all my blue button thanks Semper Fi
  3. NavyWife.. So I had a gentleman from Vietnam vets help me but not sure if it was or not, I honestly don't know much about this stuff. Which was 1 of the reasons I avoided this fpr 8 yrs.. but I had to fill out paperwork then wait and submit evidence then wait.. then kinda tracked on ebennefits but idk about it being FDC.. hope this sorta helps answer your question.
  4. Les & shotkawla Thanks to both of ya!

  9. Okay I just want to start out by sayig thanks to the few people who had input when I started in thia site which has barely been since late February. I started my claim in May last year and ebennefits said it wasnt started til June but whatever. Anyway I didn't know about ebennefits until I hear about it in this site.. curious as to wjere my claim was I made an account. So in February I saw my claim in Gathering Evidence-phase.. not a shocker I was told could take years.. so then after my C&P for bilateral hearing loss and ptsd in February and after sending in personal stressor stories. I found out my claim was at (evidence under review) then mid march after checking almost every three days I saw it move to prep for decision. Then yesterday I looked and couldn't believe it had jumped again to pending decision approval. So today like an hour ago I looked again (could it be my lucky day I thoight to myself. .) And you wpnt believe it but my claim was complete. 60%. Expecting the BBE (mythical big brown envelope I always read about) hopefully next week! Goodluck everyone. One more thing.. Office was in Seattle in case anyone was wondering. Have a great weekend super excited vet here 3X iraq tour + combat tested.
  10. John9999 Keep your head up hope the process speeds up for u boss..
  11. Adkins7b mine was in gathering evidence from last june until feb this year.. then early march few weeks after my c&p (2 of them) it went prep for decision.. and yesterday I saw it move one more step to pending decision approval. My claim is for bilateral hearing loss and ptsd..
  12. Hey hoghick just out of curiosity has your claim moved I read on another post that you started your claim arou d the same time as me last year. Just a bit ago I checked ebennefits and saw that mine had moved up to Pending decision approval.. crossing my fingers for you.
  13. Yea I figured it'd be something like that. Hope it moves forward soon!
  14. Claim has been in prep for decision.. anybody know how long that phase lasts? Total time since claim started is 10 months.
  15. Hey yall so I went into the VA clinic a couple days ago to turn in my form in order to see the Psychologist's notes from C&P on healtheVet. Yesterday the claim on Ebenefit was on Gathering Information.. and I looked this morning and saw it as Preparing for Decision. Im assuming this is good news? Up to this point its been 9 Months since I started my claim & began seeing a counselor at the local Vet Center.. I wish I had gone in years ago, but leave it to a Marine combat Vet to screw $hi+ up before realizing there was a problem. Relationships, legal issues, fist fights.. etc. (Not Proud of any of it).
  16. Thanks to both of you.. I called the office and said I had to get it from the VA? Any tips on who to ask? Because the clinic was some contracted personnel.
  17. Berta I called the QTC clinic and the gentleman told me id have to request that report the psychologist wrote from the VA.. any ideas on where to start "digging"
  18. Berta I'll definitely be doing that thanks a bunch!
  19. Hi all Im new here and I'll try and keep it short. So last week I gave my rep my stress letter to send in along w another letter describing how ptsd affects me.. I did 3 tours in iraq in my 4 yr enlistment and I have all sorts of anger issues and. Basically most of the ptsd symptoms. Anyway so my question was whats next? & another thing if any vets from Washington State could give me some insight as to how vet friendly this state is id appreciate it. Ive also had my C&P a couple weeks ago. Semper Fi
  20. PTSD claim. No clue what to expect fron here.. I put in a claim last may and did the C&P last month in Feb. Sent in a stressor letter and another letter letting them know how ptsd affects me. So my vet rep said, "now we wait" so I tried asking what that meant and he just said wait til they write you.. this is where im confused is that it? Another thing I was wondering was how ebenefits is used? How do I sign up to check? Thanks so much in advance ive never posted but you guys/gals seem to know alot glad I ran into this site. Semper Fi
