  1. This was the rating by the VA for the PEB. My current Rating of 40% remains with the VA. I am just not sure where the 30% non service conneceted comes in for my PEB and if it will count toward my retirement since it is on of the unfitting conditions that the DOD found while doing the MEB.
  2. k, to start off with hello, I am a combat medic and a member of the Iowa National Guard with 18 year and 10 months in. I am a E-5. I started the Med/Peb process 6 years ago after returning from a 18 month tour to Iraq. I was dx with PTSD with depressive disorder, not otherwise specified, and history of substance abuse, which is currently a 30% rating and a 10% rating for hearing loss. I got my disability evaluation system rating decision today in the mail and it states the following. 1. For Disability Evaluation system proposed a 30 percent evaluation is proposed for ptsd with depressive disorder. 2. For disability evaluation system propose a 0 percent is proposed for left ankle tendonitis status post fracture 3.For Disability evaluation system purposes a 30 percent evaluation is proposed for neurgenic bladder status post hysterectomy. Service connection for neurogenic bladder status post hysterectomy status post revision surgical mesh remains denied. I guess my question is will the 30 percent be non service connected and will it still be figured into my medical retirement? Also will they factor in the 40 % service connected along with the 30% non service connected? any help will be appreciated. Thank you so much. "Save to serve again"
