  1. I am in the exact same situation. I filed a HLR for migraines & BPPV, my claim closed last week then yesterday it re-opened again stating "VA identified an error that must be corrected". I even got a denial letter over the weekend and now it is reopened. Not complaining, just praying for positive results. Please keep us posted on your results
  2. I am currently 50% disabled for PTSD. I filed an NOD on November 14th. On December 10th & received a SOC (statement of the case) which gave me a partial grant to 70% because I am still employable & am able to maintain a full time job. I decided not to pursue this any further and am satisfied with their decision (at least for now). The SOC stated if I am satisfied to send them something in writing stating I agree with the DRO decision. On December 12th I faxed the VA in writing a letter of agreement. The SOC stated in 60 days the decision would become final. I am now past 60 days and on ebennies nothing has changed, when I called them they said everything is still pending. My question is how long does it take to get my increase? My rep told me because I didn’t with to pursue anything further it should be quick and at any time, but that was over a month ago. My rating on ebenefits still indicated I am at 50%. Thanks in advance USCG MK3

  4. Hello & thank you in advance I am a USCG veteran, I filed for non-combat PTSD in July 2015, original claim was denied in November 2015 due to lack of evidence. On June 2, 2017 I found new evidence (news paper articles & casualty report) & submitted accordingly opening new claim based on this new evidence. I did this in person at our local VA here in LA. The VA rep that helped me believes I will get 50-70%. I have done my C&P, been diagnosed by VA with PTSD. As of today (10-6-2017), my claim is once again back in the gathering of evidence stage as seen below: Due Date: 10/06/2017 Status:  NeededFrom: Not available PTSD diagnosed, confirm stressor, to USASCURR 1. My questions are, what will happen when the USASCRR doesn’t confirm stressor by the due date? 2. Will I automatically receive back pay from original claim date of July 2015? Thank you in advance
