  1. Ok, that makes sense. I have definitely made a clear distinction between migraines and sinus headaches.
  2. Also, m ENT doctor filled out a DBQ for the Sleep Apnea, Sinusitis, and Rhinitis. I really dont understand why those are even pending.
  3. Im also curious why they have the obstructive sleep apnea as below. Its not just sleep apnea that is interrupting my sleep. The tinnitus prevents me from going a lot of nights (if my wife beats me to sleep), migraines get me up at least a couple of times a week, and post nasal drip keeps me spitting pretty much all night. Should I get a rep to help me out with this or is this possible to fight on my own? obstructive sleep apnea (also claimed as insomnia)
  4. Thanks for your reply! Will that block my claim for migraines? I suffer from both and they are definitely different types of headaches.
  5. You are correct, the Tinnitus was service connected, but they had it rated at 0%. Now it makes since why they would back pay to the original date. Technically I should have been receiving pay for that.
  6. My claim is still pending but some decisions have been made on some of the claims. Here is where I need help. 3 of my disabilities were last rated/service connected back in 2006. Today I receive an update on my claim and all 3 of these disabilities went up Asthma from 10% to 30%, Tinnitus 0% to 10%, and Chronic Sinusitis/Tension Headache 0% to 10%. I have an effective date of Aug 27 2017 for the Asthma and Sin/Ten Headache and a date of July 28 2006 for the Tinnitus. My first question is why they back dated the tinnitus for 2006 and not the other 2, especially considering I filed them at the same time initially. Second question is why did they have the Chronic Sinusitis and Tension Headaches together? Disability Rating Decision Related To Effective Date chronic sinusitis, tension headaches 10% Service Connected 08/27/2017 tinnitus 10% Service Connected 07/28/2006 memory loss Not Service Connected obstructive sleep apnea (also claimed as insomnia) Deferred allergic rhinitis Deferred migraine headaches Deferred asthma 30% Service Connected 08/27/2017 Thank you in advance!
  7. I had my 4th and last c&p on 31 oct and the status changed from Gathering of Evidence to Review of Evidence in the same day. The next day (1 Nov) it had changed to Review of Evidence and the following day (2 Nov) it had jumped to Preparation for Decision. I woke up Friday to check the status and it had jumped to Preparation for Notification. I check it yesterday and it had went back to Preparation for Decision. Is this normal? I know that this thing started moving really fast towards the end, but im ready to get the results. Also out of all the c&p's I had it seems that my hearing one was the worst. The doctor asked me questions and I answered them. She proceeded to tell me that me having the ringing in my ears were normal when I explained the ringing and how it sounded and how it kept me from falling asleep...... Anyhow, hopefully her telling me how normal the tinnitus that im dealing with wasnt a reflection on the rating. All the rest of the doctors seemed ok, but her.
  8. Had my third scheduled c&p completed today. Second was with ENT and it went pretty well, or so I believe. I told the doc everything that had been going on and also talked about sinus procedures. Todays visit for tinnitus went smooth, but im unsure if the rating will go up from 0%. I did the hearing exam and I described to her my tinnitus issues. I also told her that it keeps me up at night due to the hum that I hear when its quiet at night. Anyhow I have one more c&p scheduled.
  9. First let me state, Ive been searching and searching trying to find information pertaining to my disabilities and C&P's. I just completed my first C&P for an asthma increase. My numbers still appear to place me in the 10% range, but im trying to find out if I could still qualify for the 30% rating based on being prescribed by my primary care to use my albuterol 4x per day. Also, is there something that I would have to submit as evidence or will they make the determination base on my primary care physician albuterol 4x daily recommendation? My numbers follows: Pre-Bronch Actual Pred %Pred FVC *3.01 4.10 *73 FEV1 *2.66 3.35 *79 Post-Bronch Actual %Pred FVC *2.99 *72 FEV1 *2.67 *79
