According to your email, your DLI (date last insured) is 12/30/16 so you are no longer insured for SSDI (social security disability insurance).  Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist with your appeal that you have filed recently. Please continue to keep SSA updated with your medical updates and respond to all correspondence directly to them.

Sorry, the answer may not be what you want to hear, but it is a good answer.  The last date insured is a hard and fast rule with SSDI.  I have not read of anyone overcoming that.
