Schedule Of Rating -- Back Injury

I have a rating on my v.a. page of 40% for lumbosacral strain (code 5237 as i see it). And also have 40% for degenerative arthritis lumbar spine (code 5242). They are now telling me that they have combined these to together into one code (5295) witch eliminates one of the 40% and makes both combined 40%. i think this is wrong because one deals with my degenerative arthritis (bones) and the other deals with my strain (muscles). could you help please,, i don't even see a code 5295.
