  4. Been gone for a long time but back looking for the excellent information I see is still here. Wayne I was medically retired in 1977 with heart disease with 60%. So what I am understanding that I should file a claim to have it upgraded to Ischemic. I also have, DMII, 30%, Sleep Apnea O% ( haven't tried to SC it yet., now I have been diagnosed with COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. I guess I should open up my claim to file for the Ischemic HD, and add the COPD and CHF to it. Maybe even the Sleep Apnea. Any advice greatly appreciated.
  5. there was no autospy done. They found this when they were trying to put a tube down his throat and couldnt get it to pass. the fluid the got was blood. Thats when the DR said it was cancer and a tumor..Cancer and heart attack was the cause of death on his Death Certificate...They are getting the hospital records now...What all would she be entitled to...
  6. Hello all, Tbird was very kind and reenstated me..I want to apologize to all of you for my behavior several years ago. I was having bad time and couldn't get my head out of my butt...Alll is well now. thank God!!!!! Now for my question:: I lost a good friend last week. For several years I had tried to get him to go to VA for help but he was one of those that didn't want to government envolved in his life. He was a VN Vet 67-68. A grunt. He had a heart attack on a Friday and was passed on Sunday. But while they were trying to revive him on sunday they discovered he had a tumor in his chest and was tring to draw fluid from it when he passed...Pressing against his heart and lungs they would not work properly. As of Tuesday some of the test still were not back. He had also told his wife he had cancer about a month ago...How he knew no body knows,,,If she can prove the Tumor and cancer were AO related can she file a claim in his behalf for widow's benefits...He left her with nothing. Thanks and again I'm sorry for my past actions and you won't see that kind of crap again..Wayne
