good morning berta i have been issued a knee brace with metal braces in it does this allow me to file for clothing allowence. an how do i file for this thanks for your reply ertle

[berta i was on a clean up detail on a firing range ther was about five or six of us when corpral osbourne picked up a 48 mm rocket that had not exploded when he dropped it ti exploded the rest you can assume] If he mentions the stressor and the unit you were in was at the same time and place of the stressor-I would certainly submit this to the VA. I am a civilian so what I am trying to understand is whether being in the same unit when this happened- would be enough for VA to accept this stressor. Would an entire unit witness the stressor or be in proximity to it? or did it just involve those on a specific detail? what was the detail you were on when it happened?

dear berta bare with me please i have gotten a statment from my co commander that states that i was in his unit in canada where the event happened but he states that it was so long ago that he can not remember if i was on the detail hestates i was in canada that the event happened an gives details about what happened as i have also states that the event was such that the svc member was med discharged also hiss name is corpal jerry osbourne of which i have not been able to locate as of yet thanks for your prompt returns erte

berta the statment i got from company commander puts me in the unit it puts me at the field prblem in canada but he states i did not know if i was on the detail it was so long ago i have the place an time he,s my co he makes mention of the stressor what else would i need

my co were i was stationed has sent me a statment proving i was in the company at the time of the stressor but he stated because it was so long ago he could not put me on the said detail that i witnessed i have spoken with the ncoic of the detail an sent pictures to him also but at this time he states he was there but can not remember me at this time my co has stated that the svc man was severily injured an was med. dischared from svc.

berta if they accept my claim for ptsd /bipolar mental cond. an award could i then file for wrongful discharge because they did not try to help with mil. promblems that arose after the stressor. i renlisted in 1988 for 6 yrs. was boarded for e-5 derosed to europe was promoted changed mos an chaptered in 1989 thanks for your response ertle

berta i have smr were i had requested med. treatment. my local vmc has me under thier care an they are treating me for the symptoms i was going to theapry sessions but funds ran out for gas .i was chaptered for missconduct an sent home after almost 8 yrs

dear berta this is my first post so here goes i just made contact with my company co. today an he states that he will help me with a buddy letter. i was on a field excersize in canada while on police call on a firing range a dud blew up on us i was not hurt at the time but a man beside me was struck by fragments very badly i wont go into the details but he was taken out by a chopper.i have no ideal how to tell my co what to write that will best help my claim i now am awaiting a hearing as we speak.sorry its so long but thanks for your time ertle.
