waynekn's Achievements

  1. Got letter saying the ALJ approved SSD and SSI without a hearing working thru Congressman,Lawyer and direct contact with Social Security to keep the fires lit took 6 months, retro to April 2006! Now to put more pressure on VA, PTSD C&P done about 6 weeks ago. :D
  2. Filed a claim for SSD it has been denied 2 times and is at the ALJ. Initial claim was filed 6 months ago, after 2nd time PTSD was added and sent to ALJ, talked to ALJ office and one of the ladys ther hand carried it through because of request for dire need. It was given to the ALJ 2 weeks ago. How long is it usually take before decision is reached? Have been in contact with all Congressional offices atate and federal and they sopposedly puting a Congressional Inquirey flag on my claim.
  3. My attorney is aware that I am drawing unemployment and says can work around that as that and my wife's SSDI aren't enogh to cover all my lialabilities. He was able to get my wifes caim thru within 6 mos. of filing using dire need her calim was for Anxity Depression Disorder, was told her calim is permenatley non-reviewable by judges order but am not sure that is correct. If I don't get back pay that is fine but do need SS to keep going while I continue to fight with VA over PTSD,COPD and other issues. Lawyer says by me telling employers that I have a VA claim for PTSD shows umemployability as do the other disabalities. I am filing for total of 7 issues. As soon you mention PTSD so far all employers are very nice as they politely show you the door after saying it doen't necessarily effect your consideration for empolyment.
  4. BETRA, i found out that the diagnosis by the VA with chronic PTSD was not included in last appeal so I guess i can address that when I go before adminstrative law judge. My wife draws disability now and is applying for SSI. My lawyer is pushing for die need to speed up things and I am working with Conressman Snyder from my state, will also contact contact Sen. Linclon and Pryor. I am also trying to expidite my Va claim.
  5. Called SS ofice today to check on claim status was told it was rejected, I have left a message for my Attorney to file an appeal, SS is sending me the papers, this is 2 time denied. Is there away to speed up process, down to $165 and 1 remaining unemployment check. Wife is already drawing SSD but can't pay bills with it.
  6. TestVet and Pete 53 Thank you for reply at leeast it is encouraging. Once again Thank You spirts have been low lately.
  7. Wife recieved a call today from SSD saying I don't have to see their Psych. that they have recieved additional information and they can make a determination with what they have. I have filed for PTSD,Back injuries from car wrecks,COPD, Carpel Tunnel in both wrist, Hyper-tension. I was denied and added PTSD on appeal. Is not haveing to see a Psych a positive or negative thing Vet Center has said PTSD for some time but my psych nurse practioner changed diagnosis to chronic PTSD 2 weeks ago.
