Hello all I recieve 100% IU, and was rated at 70% for PTSD. Was rated the first time in 2000 at 60% My Decision paperwork for 70% ( from 2004 ) said follow up appointment Feb 2008. Then I got 100% IU (April 2005) it has no date given for appointment just states in the future. My condition has not changed, Gaf is lower though. And I have applied for SSD. 1 . When is app at C/P, or how can I find out when? 2 . If The 100% is removed do I return to a 70% rating ? 3. Does the Va review claims every 5 yrs ? I just need to if there going to yank the carpet from underneth me and when. Very worried .................

Hello all; Got my denial letter today. Pretty wild reason for the denial. You can still take care of yourself, follow simple instuctions, and remember stuff. They said the I was a security guard ( 8 yrs ago ) and can return to this type work. I have PTSD !!!!!! This is a joke. I know the turn alot down the first time , BUT give a real reason's not BS. There I vented :) . Well I will cal my Lawyer and file reconsideration................ Can I get copy's of the SS paper work ( there evedice ), I don't think they see the big picture. Wish me luck... Hello all ; Thanks for all the input, you have brought calm to the storm. :) My legal poeple are Disability Group in California. They are very good at keeping me in the loop. I did not get a copy of the Doctors report, did not know I could get it. How would I get a copy now to see what he wrote ? Yes the SSA has been told / showed that I have 100 % for unemployabilty. I told the SSD doctor also. Mitch .......................

Hello all; I have been disabled from the VA for about 5 yrs. I have Service connected PTSD and was awarded 70 %. Then in 2004 I was hospitalized for a self mutalation act for 13 days. After that I was granted 100% for Unemployability. Have not worked since late 2004. I applied for SSD in early 2006 and was denied. I have reapplied in Aug 2007 with the Disabiltys Goup to represent me. I have had my Doctor fill out a form from the legal group to offset the SS 15 min Doctor's appointment, with all the facts . I when to a 15 min SSD doctors appointment last week, and was not impressed. He said he had worked with my VA doctor before, was too make me relax ? Am I on the right track ? Is this winnable ? What can I do to keep the iron in the fire . Sorry to bug you all. Thanks.... for a site for us to come too..... :) Mitch .............
