All the VA and DOD mistakes are isolated unless it happens to you.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

Jordan Fox-the serviceman who called this error to National attention-

when Steve Dousy told him (on Fox News )that the Pentagon has changed their mind and he didnt owe the money back- said immediately - that's is great but what about the others who got repayment notices ( with interest to be added) for partial repayment of their enlistment bonus due to the fact they were WOUNDED iN SERVICE!

I heard scuttlebutt that the Pentagon has sent out letters to these other vets -but then when I tried to get a copy of the letter-I heard they were still working on the letters- etc---

this was NOT an isolated case at all.

Pete you are so right!

PS the Army Times says there were hundreds affected- by the way- Senator Schumer is my state Senator (and Clinton)

Senator Schumer said:

“This policy and early discharge as a result of service-related injury is now preventing thousands of combat-wounded warriors from getting the bonuses they have earned,” Schumer said. “This includes several hundred New Yorkers who suffered wounds or catastrophic injuries before concluding their duty.”
