If you read my comments in the Federal Register on the revission of M21-1 (search under Hericides Berta Simmons- I added to the comments from William Dodge thus:
"In addition to my recent comments under search- Heribicides Berta Simmons ,Docket VA-2007-VACO-0001-0259-regarding the M21-1 provision-as to Agent Orange---
a Judge ( Judge O. C. Spaulding, of Putnam County -West Virginia)- has just certified 2 class action complaints from a class of civilians who claim damages due to Monsanto's production of dioxin for AO in the late 1940s up to 1970.
Prior to this the state Supreme Court had denied accepting the residents complaints as to
effects of the pollution of dioxin from the Monsanto plant. (in Nitro, W. VA)
I will attempt to get a copy of the complaints filed as I think this might well reveal and support the scientific fact that dioxon as a bioaccumulative persistent organic pollutant surely had the chemical properties consistent with long term effects, as well as abilities to travel far from it's source, by land, air and sea.
I am unaware of ANY scientific data whatsoever that the Veterans Administration has to even remotely suggest that dioxon is not capable of exposure far from it's source.

I dont know how much more time we have to comment on the revision and I suggest strongly that you read the info at Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Association first-
the revision has to take place regardless of the outcome of Haas-
but the Fed Register can accept your comments on this AO issue, the Haas stay or anything else pertinent to this subject.
