how do you use the docket number to research travel board decisions and where can I go to speak to someone at the VBA? I know I have seen this info here but can't seem to find it using the search function.My travel board was held 02/05/08 and only 07 is showed in bva decisions.

Go to www.va.gov Click on the Board of Veterans Appeals link. A pop-up will appear. On the pop-up click on "search decisions". The search page will appear. Instead of putting in a word to search for simply enter the docket number of the decisions you want to read. That decision will appear and allow you to review it.

As to the second part of your question: It depends on what you want to discuss. On the same page (BVA main page), in the same pop-up, you will see a link for customer service. This will provide you with a direct email and phone access to the Board of Veterans' Appeals Ombudsman. This should point you in the right direction.

I guess I should have a just pasted the link, however, its always best for you to do it yourself for you will learn much! :)

The BVA only posts decisions every three months-

they are only up to November and maybe December 2007 at the BVA web site.

You will get your decision in the mail way before they post it online.
