Guest Berta
There is a potential association between Bells and diabetes- http://www.numarkpharmacists.com/hn/Concern/Bells_Palsy.htm Under google search more pops up too- The VA doesn't seem to want to pay more than 10% for this condition unless it fulflls a criteria within: http://www.va.gov/vetapp05/files2/0511133.txt If a doctor will state that your Bell's Palsy is more than likely due to the diabetes, you could get this as secondary-it would help too if the doctor sees a few printouts from the net as to the potential association-unless there is another reason for it ,other than the diabetes. Seems like it could be a type of peripheral neuropathy to me-
