rigo
In the Veterans Benefits Manual found the following: Depression: Diabetics have a greater risk for depression, especially when combined with alcohol or drug use, the side effects of medications, or thyroid problems. HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted September 12, 2005 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 12, 2005 Good Post and they don't often tell you at the VA that a side effect of oral medication for diabetes is depression. Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted May 2, 2006 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted May 2, 2006 Just the fact that a person has a significant disability is a factor in depression. Having numb feet is pretty depressing. Go see a shrink at the VA and ask to be evaluated for depression.
