bm6546
if the va gives you 4 viagra per month, my wife wants to know what the other 3 are for?????? Actually the VA has not given me the Viagra yet. The doctor prescribed Viagra but they haven't approved it yet. I need more than 4, sometimes they work...sometimes they don't!! I've waited this long and I'm not giving up....NEVER!! Guest Vietnam Tanker
I was given the little blue pills years ago, I took all 4 at once and it still did not help. Then they wanted to do a stainless steel inplant, I am still unsure of that one.
souldeliverer
Are you able to choose the size of the implant? I was given the little blue pills years ago, I took all 4 at once and it still did not help. Then they wanted to do a stainless steel inplant, I am still unsure of that one. Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Toposurveyor
Here is an update on the "bent member" situation started by rickzoo. The head Uro;ogist of the Portlnd VA finally advfised me that there were no funds to outsource a surgery for Peyronnie's disease. However, there is an NP and a Dr. at the Spokane VA hospital that are willi9ng to discuss this with me. The call is in to them and I am waiting for a reply. I suppose that I should start a new thread as it seems my involvement in his thread seems to hijack his. My apologies. Ed
Ricky
When I saw the VA Cardiologist 3 weeks ago she prescribed Viagra for my ED. I told her that the Vardenifil that the VA prescribed just did not work. She said that because I have been diagnosed with ED that she will go ahead and prescribe 100mg of Viagra. I am still waiting for the VA to send me the Viagra. I called over to her office and when she called me back she said that it was under "consult" and it will be awhile until it gets approved. I thought that once a VA doctor writes a prescription that the pharmacy processes the order and sends it to you. They didn't waste any time cancelling my order for Vardenifil, not that it is any big deal, seeing that it didn't work any way. The same cardiologist approved my renewal for Plavix after the VA cancelled it. I got a letter from my private cardiologist and he said he wants me to stay on Plavix for 4 years (i've been taking it for 2 1/2 years). That would leave 1 1/2 years left. The VA cardiologist read the letter and said she would approve the Plavix for the full 4 years. Last week I received my Plavix and it was for 90 days with no refills. I called her back and she said that the Plavix refill was also under consult and it would be awhile before I would hear anything. Is the VA playing games with me on my prescriptions? Is this something new that my prescriptions are under "consult"? I don't even know what that means and do I just sit hear and wait until someone, whoever is in charge of "consults", calls me. Oh... wait a minute, why should my prescriptions be any different than my claims that I have been waiting on for over 2 years....I guess I'll just sit hear and wait to hear from the VA on my prescriptions also. I'm getting good at waiting. Anybody have this seem experience with their prescriptions being sent to the "consult" waiting room? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance as always...Brian Brian, maybe the consult had to be approved by the head guy, uh I mean cheif of cardio. Many heart patients have a problem with viagra especially those on some type of nitrates. The guys that take nitrates on the spot for angina normally handle the effects of the viagra much better than those who take daily long acting nitrates. The effects of the nitrates and viagra can be an have been deadly for many. Therefore, most staff cardio docs who prescribe viagra for heart patients normally have to have their recommendations staffed through the head guy...dang it I mean cheif of cardio hahahahahahaha just my opinion. danang_1969
One of my prescriptions was changed my the VA pharmacy not long ago to a different medication (cheaper) and when you read the "do nots" on the meds they want to switch me to, it is not to be taken with some other medication I have on VA record that I am taking and that I that I presently receive through the VA. My family doctor wrote me a letter explaining as to why I did not need to change that medication and I sent the VA along with medication instruction printout about the danger of mixing the med they are pushing on me. Taking this med with the other meds and my other conditions is plainly forbidden on that med. It is still pending. Meanwhile I am paying through the nose for the med at the Walmart Pharmacy they had me on before they canceled it, back prior to the brainstorm they had to save money with the cheaper med and get a bonus I guess.
