Make Sure You Watch Those Timelines

:rolleyes:http://www.va.gov/vetapp08/files2/0813448.txt

Time lines are confusing in an appeal but a veteran must know them and follow them. He/she must also fully understand any letter sent to them by the VA for if you miss a time line you are just simply out of luck as this veteran was.

another time line issue - a good read on how slow the VA is. This was an admin rating for a clothing allowance. It was remanded by the board so the RO could issue a SOC. It took them three years - three years to write a simple SOC!!!!! Now that is following the ole board promise that remands get priority and must be done quickly!!!!!!!

If you will notice this is my RO in Montgomery - so now you know that all the bad things I say about them are true!!!!! <_<

I would add to this- SAVE everything!

I hate having files and files of VA crapola-

over 20 years of VA related stuff-

BUT- I sure am glad I saved it all- I have needed countless things in the course of my past VA claims-that now support my present claim.
