If you are concerned about any Vietnam veteran who has a disability on the AO presumptive list and who can prove exposure to AO ANYWHERE-
please write to Congressman Filner as to your concerns on this bill and please comment on it when it gets into the Federal Register.
The "outside of Vietnam no foot on ground" vets community which includes Blue Water Navy vets ,(any BVrown Waters having hard time with theire claims, any BWN vets who are in the Moratorium under Haas, Thailand, Cambodia. Alaska, Guam, Okinawa vets and God knows how many others who were exposed to AO must do all they can-
and I hope others will too- to ensure that any veteran with a disease on the presumptive list and with proven AO exposure-
will be properly and equally compensated by the USA.
Men and women in Vietnam during the Vietnam war were certainly not the only military personnel exposed to AO.
The Korea vets AO criteria - confirmed by DOD Unit list- is here under a search and also at NVLSP web site-and VA is making those awards to Korean vets who have AO disabilities and who fit the exposure criteria within the regs.
