Does anyone know if the tiger team is still in place? I have a ww-2 who is 79yrs. wanting to file a claim for PTSD. I only met this individual recently . He has the purple heart and he tells me , and I don't doubt it, that he was a BAR operator in ww-2.

BAR stands for Browning Automatic Rifle but I don't if they had them then or not but I think so.

Those that need help the most are the ones least likely to receive help from the VA.

It's up to us to help each other.

Railroader~ Yes Sir , BAR ,Browning Automatic Rifile goes alway bactk to ww 1. My favorite movie of all time with Steve McQueen ,The San Pebbles. McQueen uses a Bar in the 1930's China revolution.

Sledge~~ thanks for the link .Looks like the tiger team was/is used for cases over a year old at VARO and claimant over 70 yrs.old.
