Guest Jim S.
A friend of mine, a Retired Military Veterns widow says she recieves TriCare for Life free of charge, Yet my Brother has to pay for his wife's TriCare. Does income play a role in whether it is cost free or is the cost deducted from her military retirement pension before she receives her check? I would like some clarification since she may qualify for VA Death Pension and medical expenses are deducted from her income total. Jim S. B) Edited December 27, 2005 by Jim S. Josh
Dear Jim, Saw your post and right up front noted the following difference between the two cases. You wrote " A friend is (a) Retired Military Veteran´s widow says she receives TriCare for Life free of charge, Yet my Brother has to pay for his wife's TriCare. Could it be that a widow receives aqdditional benefits? This is of course assuming your brother is still alive. Just a thought.
