I don't need any jackass in the VA or Congress to give me the right to salute the flag any way I want any time I want.

The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America to which I swore to uphold and defend gives me that right!

What a horseshit "make it look like we are supporting our veterans" issue!

RIGHT ON !!!

Ditto: I always felt out of place and uncomfortable just putting my hand over my heart like the Average Joe Citizen. I Volunteered and served without question and earned the right to salute my flag or during the national antheim. What were they going to do, arrest me for saluting? I've never been questioned by anyone as to why I saluted the flag instead putting my hand over my heart, so why should the government have to make a law saying it was OK.

If this is the way they say they are helping Veterans, then we don't need these types in office. We need more substantial help that affects our health and our finanancial bottom line, by correcting the broken process that is the VA Claims process.

Rockhound Rider :o :(
