Helped Ptsd Vet From 30-50%

Question

Helped a ptsd vet who was 30% go to 50%. The VA sent him a letter yesterday with SOC, yet decision was made over 3 weeks ago. He got his retro today.I called his VSO and said there were error's in the SOC...they said the evidence over a year showed the vet had GAF's in the 50's and his treatment at ..MC show he was being treated for ptsd and attending all appointments with nothing noticed differently. Well I said I thought he would be rated higher like 70% and he said leave it alone "WE" got what we wanted. First his GAF's were in mid to low 40's with many at 40. Next he was never treated or seen at the VHMC ever, in fact never been to that state. His mental health records reveal somone with severe problems, psychological, social, workplace many problems, abnormal behavior, outbursts, etc. So the "We" IS WHO? I worked, set up appointments, wrote letters, requested all info from his work, therapists and such? Sure was not any "WE." ME"

Do you think this is a cue? What can or do we do now?

No CUE -

the veteran can ask for a Reconsideration but it does not stop the NOD clock.

The GAF is a smart part of the overall medical evidence-important but not the single evidence of higher rating.

The decision stated exactly why they awarded 50% and no higher-

it will take medical evidence that complies with the Schedule of Ratings for a higher %.

Did VA get his private treatment records?

Does he get SSA otr SSI- and does VA know it-

If he is unemployed has he applied formally for TDIU yet?
