Who Requests The C&p Exam

Rate this question

Question

At this point, I am very frustrated.

I filed a claim November 27, 2007. After all the documentation where aquired by the review board send it to the rating board. Now, I am being told, that my records are the review board again. How much longer do I need to wait again, for my records to go to the rating board. I was informed by the VA, once the records are at the Review Board, that it will take canother 90 days for their decsions. Right now, the stress is getting to me, and I am having crying spells. My patience at this point is very low.

I was now told my the VA, that is the Pre-Determination Team at the Rating Board that requests C&P exams and send them to the Post-Determination Rating Board.

I am so tired and discouraged about the everything right now.

pre-determination requests the exams, but the rater can kick your claim back to pre-determination if all the necessary information isn't in the file. It sounds like this is what has happened to you. Hang in there. It takes a while on some claims, but don't give up!

I agree with rentalguy, this may have been kicked back for the examiner to opine on a secondary condition/s or maybe the examiner did not give the "more likely than not" statement. Either way keep your head up and please do not take ant of this personal.

Hi cornelia, In October, you mentioned a CUE. Did you raise the question of a clear and unmistakable error to the VA? What was the error made by the VA? Were you just doing a little research when you inquired about that? Just trying to help. Wishing you a sucessful New Year.
